10 Reasons Why We Love Jackson Hole Wyoming

No matter what age you are, interests you have, or what time of year you are traveling or moving to, Jackson Hole Wyoming, there is something to please everyone. Not only is the scenery something to behold, but the options of lodging and activities are endless. The following are just a few reasons why we love Jackson Hole Wyoming:

1. Nothing can surpass the beauty of Jackson Hole

The town is nestled among massive mountain ranges, including the glorious Grand Tetons. In the winter, the snow topped peaks are a photographers dream and in the summer, the banks of the rolling Snake River provide a place to sit, relax, and take in the surroundings.

2. Having fun in the snow is a given in the winter

Skiing the mountains of the area is like no other place, and definitely not for the faint of heart. With some of the top-rated ski resorts in North America, the town hosts many travelers that are looking for challenging slopes and hours of fun. You don’t have to be an expert skier to enjoy the winter here, as there are plenty of opportunities to snowshoe, snowmobile and cross country ski, as well. 3. Getting to and around Jackson Hole Wyoming is fairly easy, even without a car

There is a local airport located about 15 minutes from the main town square, which makes it easy to visit the area. There are many shuttles from the airport that go to the various resorts in town. The Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit (START) bus travels through the town, as well as the surrounding towns of Star Valley, WY and Teton County, ID and is fairly inexpensive.     The people in Jackson make it #1 in my list of least favorite WY places.

    I am from Italy, and for now I am never been to Jackson Hole, but, as a fan of the West way of life, and Wyoming as my favorite Western state, Jackson Hole for me will be a must see, and the town is just lovely.
