A lifetime of love, family… and football! Casper resident, Winnie Allan was born in Boulder, Colorado on November 2, 1916. That’s right, she is celebrating her 100th birthday this year!

In 1920, Allan’s family left Colorado behind for Casper, Wyoming. She’s called Casper home ever since, with the exception of a few years being stationed in other states during her husband’s military service including World War II.

Together with husband, Everett Allan, she enjoyed managing many theaters in Casper and theaters throughout the state including Gillette, Douglas, Powell, and Wheatland. As a Natrona graduate with a sharp memory, Winnie has become her family and friends’ go-to for historical stories and facts.

Though she’s full of Wyoming pride, a piece of her heart still has love for Colorado, and an endless devotion to the Denver Broncos!

Wyoming Magazine would like to wish Winnie a very happy 100th birthday! And Go Broncos!
